Born and raised in Northern Virginia, Dr. Jennifer Lee is excited to be able to serve in the community that she calls home. Dr. Lee attended the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She continued her education and received an Advanced Biomedical Sciences Certificate from George Mason University and a Master of Science degree in Biophysics and Physiology from Georgetown University. She then earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth School of Dentistry.
After dental school, Dr. Lee spent one year in the beautiful mountain town of Asheville, North Carolina and completed her General Practice Residency with the Mountain Area Health Education Center. During this time, she was able to hone her skills with fellow dentists while learning how to manage dental emergencies and treat medically compromised patients.
To keep up with the ever-changing field of dentistry, Dr. Lee is actively involved in many hours of continuing education courses each year. She is currently in the process of completing the continuing education program at the Kois Center in Seattle, which promotes delivery of predictable, high-quality dentistry through evidence-based science. Dr. Lee is also learning the principles of Biomimetics, a branch of dentistry that emphasizes the preservation of the natural tooth and long-lasting treatment that mimics nature’s design. She is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Lee believes that each patient deserves a pleasant and personalized dental experience. She is dedicated to helping her patients stay healthy and to put their best smile forward. With her uplifting personality, she values cultivating great patient relationships and ensuring that patients feel comfortable in the dental chair.
When she’s out of the office, you’ll find her in a coffee shop sipping a vanilla iced latte or taking pictures of food. She also enjoys breezy days on the beach, traveling, yoga, hiking, fashion, and her little Yorkie, Coco.
