Revitalize Your Smile with Expert Dental Bridges

Dental Bridge

You have the option to replace one, two, or even three missing teeth with dental bridges. These bridges will be supported by dental crowns that are placed on the remaining teeth adjacent to the gap. Our bridges are meticulously designed to match the appearance of your surrounding teeth, allowing you to chew and smile with confidence. Additionally, they prevent the neighboring teeth from shifting, which is a common occurrence after tooth loss.

Why is a dental bridge necessary?

If you have a missing tooth and wish to avoid dental implant surgery or are ineligible for it, you might want to contemplate getting a dental bridge as an excellent alternative. A dental bridge can effectively restore the appearance and functionality of your smile, while also preventing neighboring teeth from shifting or overcrowding.

Who Qualifies As A Candidate For A Dental Bridge?

Our dental team will evaluate your teeth to determine if a fixed bridge is appropriate for you. The bridge will be meticulously placed over two neighboring teeth to ensure an ideal fit and secure positioning. Generally, larger bridges may be less stable. If we discover that the bridge alone may not offer enough stability, we may recommend using dental implants to provide additional support.

What occurs during the dental bridge procedure?

To start the procedure, we will administer a local anesthetic to numb a specific area of your mouth. After that, we will shape and file down the surrounding teeth to create enough space for the new fixed bridge. Impressions will be taken during this process to create both a temporary and permanent bridge. Once the shaping and filing are done, you will leave with the temporary bridge in place. To install the permanent bridge, you will need to schedule a second appointment. During this appointment, we will remove the temporary bridge and securely place the permanent one using a dental-grade adhesive. We will then polish the bridge and make any necessary adjustments. Additionally, we will provide you with instructions on how to properly care for the bridge through brushing and flossing to ensure its longevity.
